With Great Sadness, We Must Announce the Cancellation of SNECDA’s Drive A Derby Clinic & Competition

SNECDA is cancelling the Drive A Derby Clinic and Competition scheduled for Saturday October 17, 2027 due to insufficient entries in combination with a day of potentially heavy winds. We hope to reschedule it on a more convenient day in 2027.

SNECDA’S DRIVE A DERBY WITH ERIC WILKING!

Join us for a SNECDA fast-paced, fun carriage driving combination clinic and competition Saturday October 17, 2026.  Learn how to drive a Derby and/or sharpen your driving skills in a combined fixed obstacles and cones course.  Walk and drive the course under Eric Wilking’s supervision then drive it again for timed placement.

All levels of experience and any size equine are invited to participate. 

DRIVERS AND NAVIGATORS MUST WEAR HELMETS AND SAFETY VESTS!  

4-wheel vehicles should be marathon-style with a navigator riding on the back step. 2-wheel vehicles may also include a navigator.

Member Registration September 14, 2026  through October 12, 2026.  $80 member entry fee 

Non member Registration October 1, 2026 through October 12, 2026.  $90 non member entry fee
